The Utility Stool 1956 was originally custom-built as seating for Ercol’s team of designers when sketching in the factory. Today, some seventy years later, the stool remains a favourite of creators everywhere. A classic characteristic of traditional Windsor craftsmanship, the Utility Stool features tapered, outward-facing legs and a moulded ash seat that accentuates the stool’s agile build. Additionally, the Utility Stool boasts the iconic Windsor wedge & tenon joint, a trademark detail found in many of Lucian Ercolani’s early works.

- You'll be given a named day delivery then advised of the approximate time slot the day before.
- Many items are delivered assembled so you only need to unpack them

What happens when I order?
If your items are in stock we'll contact you within a couple of days to offer a suitable date.
If they're made to order, we'll contact you as soon as our suppliers have delivered into us.
Deliveries are Mon-Fri but Saturday slots can often be arranged for most of the country.
Hassle-free returns
All online specialist orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery, regardless of reason.
Contact us and we will arrange for a crew to come out and collect the furniture.
There's no charge if it's faulty, but we do charge for change-of-mind returns.
